Candida van Gerona

Zij was de moeder van Sint Emerius van Gerona († 8e eeuw; feest 27 januari) die met haar de abdij stichtte van St-Stefanus van Bañoles. Hij werd er de eerste abt; zij trok zich terug als kluizenares in de buurt van de stad Gerona. Daar is zij uiteindelijk gestorven.
