Zijn naam wordt genoemd in een oud brevier uit Aberdeen, Schotland. Speciale verering geniet hij in de plaats Buchan. Hij zou raadsman zijn geweest van koning Kenneth II. Zijn gebeden waren zo doeltreffend dat de Schotten op het beslissende moment de Picten definitief versloegen; dat gebeurde in zeven gewapende treffens op één dag.
