Mella van Connaught

Zij was geboren in het Ierse Connaught en zou de moeder worden van twee beroemde heilige kluizenaars: Cannech (ook wel Kenelm of Keneln geheten) en Tigernach. Na de dood van haar man werd ze kloosterzuster en stierf als abdis van klooster Doire-Melle, ook genoemd Loughorelve of Lough-Melvin, in Leitrim, Ierland.
