Colmán van Oughaval

Hij was een leerling van Sint Columba van Iona en Sint Fintan van Clonenagh, beroemde abten uit de beginperiode van het christendom in Ierland. Hij stichtte een kloostertje te Oughaval, waarvan geen enkel spoor meer rest. Toen hij in Ierland stierf (6e eeuw), werd dat tegelijkertijd aan Columba op het eiland Iona in een visioen geopenbaard.
