Laurentia van Ancona met Palatias

Laurentia was de slavin van vrouwe Palatias, die woonachtig was in de Italiaanse plaats Ancona. Zij was christen en wist haar meesteres tot haar godsdienst over te halen. Tijdens de bloedige vervolgingen onder keizer Diocletianus (284-305) werden zij gearresteerd en terecht gesteld te Fermo niet ver van Ancona. Zij liggen te Fermo begraven en worden daar sinds de vroege middeleeuwen vereerd.
