Abraham van Efese

Hij stichtte in Constantinopel het klooster van de zogeheten Abrahamieten. Het lag bij de Gouden Poort. Daarnaast begon hij een soortgelijke vestiging in Jeruzalem: het Byzantijner klooster. Op een goed moment werd hij benoemd tot aartsbisschop van de stad Efese.
